Dear Bloggers,
While you were reading the book, did you see any other methods that the author or illustrator used to make this book unusual to read? Please write back letting us know what you noticed.
Remember, use the letter format!

Ms. Rothman,
I realized that the book is compiled of individual letters written and mailed between the little boy, Mr. Grumply, and other characters. But the author also writes parts of Mr. Grumply's new book for his Ghost Tamer series. That was interesting, too!

Dear Bloggers,
I saw the unusual part about the author writing like a kid would write whenever the kid was speaking in letter form.

Alex

Dear Bloggers,
I noticed that theres two thing I saw. One: I saw the handwriting was all different (as in the age sometimes) and sometimes Seymore drew pictures. Two: Sometimes there would be a newspaper, about 3 or 4 times in the whole book.

Dear Bloggers,
You're all so smart! Yes, the author use personal letters, newspaper articles, interviews, and illustrations that Seymore drew! Did this make the book more difficult for you to read? More enjoyable? Confusing? Interesting?
Awaiting your thoughts,
Mrs. Rothman-Tait

Dear Bloggers,
I never read a book with newspapers in it before. And his parents took him out just beacause he believes in ghosts. It made it more interesting.

Dear Bloggers,
I noticed that the way they put the newspaper in the book was a very good way to express the story and give more information. I loved when Frank N. Beans wrote his comments about what Ignatious and Seymour were doing. I loved this book so much and I hope the other readers out there love it as much as I did.

Dear Bloggers,
I saw that the names of all the characters in the book were funny types of sayings. For example, Olive C. Spence was really I Love Suspense and Paige Turner was really Page Turner. Those names cracked me up. It made the book more interesting. I really loved this book and I hope all the bloggers loved it too!
